Outgoing Transfer to New Custodian

Important Notes Regarding Transfer Documents:

1. Transfer Request Forms:
   • Must be received within 30 days of your dated wet signature.
2. Medallion Signature Guarantee:
   • Any transfer paperwork received without original signatures must include a Medallion Signature Guarantee stamp.
3. Asset Listing:
   • Any transferred assets must be listed on the paperwork. Attaching an account statement will not suffice.
4. Cryptocurrency Assets:
   • Cryptocurrency assets must be liquidated prior to transferring. AET does not allow cryptocurrency asset transfers.
5. Real Estate Assets:
   • If transferring real estate, you must submit Quit Claim Deeds to change titling to the new custodian.
6. Document Completeness:
   • All transfer documents must be complete and legible. If any items fail review, the account holder will need to start the process over.

Steps for Completing the Transfer

1. Obtain the Original Transfer Document:

   • Get the transfer document from the receiving custodian.
   • Complete your portion of the document, sign it, and return the original to the receiving custodian.
   • The receiving custodian will complete their portion, sign it, and send the original form to AET at the following address:

2. Create and Upload Required Identifiers to DOI:

   Once the complete Transfer Request Form is received and accepted, a DOI will be created and placed "On Hold for Corrections". You will need to upload the following identifiers:

   • Government-Issued Photo ID:
     • Front and back, with all information on the ID being clear and readable.
   • Selfie Photo:
     • A selfie holding your photo ID next to your face, with all information on the ID being clear and readable.
   • Secure PIN:
     • PDF emailed to you upon request.
   • Verbal Authorization:
     • May be required depending on the amount of the transfer.
3. Upload Required Identifiers to Your Active DOI:
   • Login to the Online Portal
   • Click on “INVEST (DOI)”
   • Click the 3 dots to the right of your DOI and choose “See Details”
   • Scroll down and click on “New Document”
   • Provide a description, then click or drag your file to the indicated area.
   • Click “Add Another Document” to upload additional documents.
   • Click the “Upload” button when done.

Be sure to check back on the status of your transfer for any additional requirements.

Transfer requests will be reviewed within 3-5 business days of a completed online DOI.
